The 2nd day was a relaxing day, I didn't get up too early and we didn't do much in Richmond. We mainly walked around, viewed the area. But when we arrived, I had my camera out the whole time. Everything was just so beautiful. The architecture, the weather, and especially the River. We then went to look for a place to eat lunch, I had a really lovely macaroni and cheese, and as I was putting down my food, a pigeon, just flew up on the table, it was slowly trying to get to my food, I tried shooing it away but it wouldn't move, it just kept quickly coming closer, and it took a piece of my salad. One of the waiters came along, she clapped at it and it flew away, she then told me that I should clap so it does go away.
After eating, I had ice cream with a flake in it, and I just felt all the nostalgia hit me. I felt as if I was little me hanging out with my family and we're going about our day in the summer. While having our ice cream and walking along the riverside, I was just admiring how amazing the river looked during the summer and how England feels so nice during the summer.
We then went to Waterstones. I saw so many books that you don't usually get in the Philippines, and how there's such a wide variety, especially in history. I went upstairs, and you cannot believe the amount of Harry Potter merchandise I saw on one of the floors, I wanted to buy EVERYTHING. It was a such an amazing bookstore, it was somewhat like fully booked, except it just felt a bit different.
Afterwards, we went into a comic book shop with all the different Marvel and geeky merchandise, I even saw a funko pop I really wanted. I looked around, and I saw a few comic books with sketches, I got a few for myself and my friends.
I really loved exploring Richmond, it had amazing sites, stores, and especially the river and the riverside. I can't wait to go back again and see more of it.
