Dinner in London, but it doesn't feel like London
The next day later in the afternoon, my brother and I went to visit his friend Alex and his girlfriend, Elisa at their home, on the way there, I got to see more of the outskirts London architecture. It was amazing I got to see different skyscrapers, beautiful houses, especially ones that look very old. Which is one of the great things about England there are a lot of old looking houses which fit into the modern era.
When we arrived, we went through the gate and I saw the garden, it looked like a lovely classic English garden, with a stone pathway, a fence, a brick wall, barbecue stove, and the rest of it being grass. We stayed outside in the garden and had our hair done. While I was having mine done, a fox suddenly came up from one side of the garden wall. I was so amazed! I've never seen a fox in real life before. And since it was so sudden, Elisa didn't have time to get her water spritzer, and instead just chased the fox away.
After our hair cuts, we went inside to wait for my brother, Phil and his fiancé (who is now his wife), Mags to come so we can go out and eat.
While waiting, I was looking around their house which had everything I saw on Instagram; such as the bohemian type curtains, pillows, candles, & etc. I was admiring the aesthetic of everything, looking at all the designs, and asking where they got them from. Elisa showed me their basement, it was like the ones you would usually see in the movies with the brick wall around, along with different items stored down there. I took a video of it and Elisa turned off the lights out of nowhere, so it seemed something spooky was going on in the video.
Phil and Mags had finally arrived and we got ready to go. While we were walking, I was able to take a ton of photos, I even took a cute photo of a white mini-cooper in front of a nice-looking house.
We arrived at the place we were having dinner, and it was like we weren't even in London, it felt as if we were in Thailand, or even in Singapore. It was a food market styled garage area with different varieties of cuisines to choose from.
We decided to eat at this Japanese cuisine stall with Filipino workers. I ordered a salmon gyudon. It tasted very rich, and you could taste just how authentic the food was.
After dinner, the workers asked for a picture with my brothers, it was hilarious, you wouldn't expect to see that happen in London. We then walked back to the house, it was just 8 pm and the sun just started to set. We stayed there to have some tea and have a chat about memories and reminisce about good times when we used to live in England.
